Squishy Fun Privacy Policy

The short version: Squishy Fun has no ads, no accounts, no chat and no sign-in. We never ask a child for their name, email, photo or location. Everything a child makes stays on their device. The app sends us only anonymous daily totals, like "a squishy was fed 12 times", that can't be traced back to anyone.

Who we are

Squishy Fun is made by KinPath, Inc. ("we"). This policy covers the Squishy Fun app on iPhone, iPad and Android.

What stays on the device

Coins, unlocked squishies, colored squishies, holiday photos, high scores and settings are saved only on the device. We don't receive them, and they're removed when the app is deleted.

Anonymous usage totals

Once a day the app sends our own server a short list of counts from the previous day, for example how many times each game was played, how long it was played, which colors and accessories were used, and how far a game got. Each send also says the platform (iOS or Android), the app version, and roughly how long ago the app was first opened (for example "1 day" or "2 to 6 days").

Each send has no name, no account, no device ID, no advertising ID and no location. Our server doesn't store IP addresses or keep request logs. It adds each send to daily totals, so sends from different devices can't be told apart. We use these totals only to see which parts of the game kids enjoy and to make it better. We don't sell them or share them with anyone.

Purchases

The optional Squishy Club purchase is handled by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We never see payment details. We use RevenueCat to check the store's receipt and remember that the purchase was made, so it can be restored. RevenueCat receives the store's transaction details, a random ID it creates for the app install, and basic device information such as the operating system version. It processes this only to provide the purchase service to us.

Purchases, restoring purchases and links that leave the app are behind a grown-up check.

Children's privacy

Squishy Fun is made for children. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children, and the app has no way for a child to enter or share it. There are no ads, no third-party analytics or tracking, and no social features. We follow the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the requirements of Apple's Kids Category and Google Play's Families Policy.

Your choices

Deleting the app removes everything saved on the device. Since we hold no personal information, there's nothing tied to your child for us to look up or delete. If you have a question or a request, write to us at the address below.

Changes

If we change what the app collects, we'll update this page and the date at the top before the change reaches the app.
